So I'm detailing the Camaro to get ready for the Boston World of Wheels and I've removed the stickers from door jam but there is glue residue left behind. Tried claying, but that didn't work. Anybody have any suggestions?

I noticed some pretty good swirls in the paint of my 2011 Camaro SS while at car shows over the summer, so I'm ready to try my hand at paint correction and get ready for the Boston World of Wheels and have some questions I'm hoping will steer me in the right direction: First off: 1. I bought the Flex 3401 VRG polisher, the orange swirl & haze remover, green severe swirl remover a couple of years ago. I'm assuming both are still good. 2. I washed, clayed, applied brilliant glaze and Americana wax back in May for the car show season. 3. My Camaro is garaged, never see's rain just sun at the shows and cruise nights. So, I'm wondering: 1. Do I need to clay again? 2. Do I need to remove the wax from the spring or can I start with the severe swirl remover? Any other advise? Thansk

I may have put this up once before, but I just can't remember. Must be getting old, LOL . Anyway, basic question for the forum. When I'm going to clay, I would double bucket wash and dry the car, then I would spray a small area with Detail Spray, then clay. Simple enough, but my question is do I then wipe down the surface with a double soft towel to remove the residue or do I spray the area again with Detail Spray and wipe it down with a double soft towel? Advise?

Well, when I'm not at a show or a cruise night it's in the garage under a nice warm cover. Water still beads like it was waxed yesterday. Americana wax, just awesome stuff !

So I last waxed my 2011 Camaro SS back in Feb of 2014 and would like to run through a paint correction this spring and I'm wondering what is the best approach to removing the wax (I don't take out the WildSS too often, car shows, cruise nights, a cruise every now and then) . The finish is still very nice but it's definitely time for the paint correction. The picture below was from the Boston World of Wheels, 2014.

I've noticed swirl marks on my chrome rims that appear to be light surface scratches. Will the metal polish 1 and 2 take care of this?

Hadn't thought of that. I have a Cannon Rebel EOS set on automatic with a Cannon Speedlite flash. Thought about trying it set on manual and opening the aperture and then messing with the shutter speed. Any suggestions?

Took 1st place in my class and also an ISCA Special Achievement Award for Modern Muscle at the 2014 World of Wheels this past weekend in Boston. My Camaro had been through a complete 2 bucket wash, clay, glaze, wax last fall and then spent the month of March in a body shop. They did a good job removing the dust but needed some Adams care. Detailing before the show(Actually was the day of the move in as the car came out of the body shop 3 days prior) consisted of a coat of Adams Waterless Wash, Adams Brilliant Glaze followed by Adams Americana Wax, but not on the freshly painted front end. Then just hit the freshly striped/painted front end with Adams detail spray and off we went. The car looked fantastic. I have 9K miles on the Camaro and people couldn't believe a car that clean had that many miles! This spring I'll be attempting my first paint correction with Adams products, can't wait. Anyway, some pics follow. I apologize for the dark pictures, still can't figure out what type of flash to use in indoor shows:

The Camaro is done !! Entire front end was repainted as I added: - 3d Carbon Side Vents - ACS T4 Ports with Vertical LED's - MPD1 Z Force Hood - Mounted a painted bowtie to the DJ grille - Added '68 - 69ish' painted striping to the front end and up the hood with 3 coats of clear to mask the paint transition. Came out fantastic!! As we speak I'm detailing the engine (also with a bunch of mod's) and the interior to get ready for this weekends Boston World of Wheels show. Guys at the body shop feel the paint is fine to use detail spray but no wax. Here are some pictures.

Wow, Adam chiming in. Very cool. Off subject, love your products! Been using them since I bought my SS back in '11 and now use them on my SS, my Yukon XL Denali, my wife's Arcadia and my daughters Malibu. They are fantastic. In fact I just worked on my dirty chrome rims on the Denali with the metal polish 1/2 to get them clean up after a long winter and they came out looking great! So, back on subject. The car is still at the body shop and I expect to have it back this week. Then I'll have about a week (I hope) to detail the car for the show. Once I have the care back I'll be sure to post some pictures. So what do you recommend, Brilliant Glaze on the new paint?

Been awhile since I've posted and am hoping for some advise. I have a 2011 Camaro SS that I'm have quite a bit of modifications to that includes new paint on the front end along with a new hood. I know I shouldn't be waxing the new paint for a while, but am wondering if there is anything I can do that won't harm the new paint yet bring out the shine. The Camaro is entered in the Boston World of Wheels in 2 weeks and want it to look it's best.

I just started detailing my Camaro for a show tomorrow and masked off the Hines Heat Extractor vents and now they appear to be stained. I masked them with 3M light painters tape and the wash was a water rinse followed by wash with Adams car wash soap. Any ideas how to get ride of the stains?

I was thinking about the total interior detailer. Will order that today. Thanks everyone!
