  1. i have both. i use the new one for my matte finish wheels. the old one was completely useless as the bristles were too soft to clean matte wheels. on painted wheels and cleaning emblems i still use the old one.

  3. So I've been on the fence for a while now about getting the merino mitt because I've read mixed reviews. But I decided to go ahead and get it during the spring sale because I am tired of dirt getting stuck in my wash pad and scratching my paint. I have to say, I wish I got it sooner. Nice and soft, and not a speck of dirt in it when I was finished. I’ll keep an eye out to see if this holds true over time, but for now I am very happy with it. I also picked up the DWC and used it for the first time and I was extremely impressed with it. I didn't let it dwell long enough because there's no mention of dwell time on the bottle, so there was a few specks left, but I've never seen the barrel of my wheels so clean before and I use a turbo stick every time I wash them. Another great product by Adam's.
  4. so quick sealant on matte wheels wont make them shiny? I ordered matte gunmetal nurburgrings the other day and i want to protect them, but also keep them matte.
  5. The paint has a lot to do with it as well. The paint on my WS6 had a pearlescent finish from the factory so it looked a mile deep when it was shined up.
  6. Dang it sold out already. Guess I'll have to wait for the next batch.
  7. camaros look sooooooo much better with quad exhaust tips. nice work.
  8. seems legit . I have one more question. What is the maximum recommended coats of the two and what is the recommended wait time in between coats?
  9. So I recently bought some revive polish and matching applicator, and I am very impressed with it. I've read on a few threads here and there of individuals using the revive after FMP with good results. What pad is recommended for this operation and what speed with flex and pc is being used?
  10. So I've read in several threads that Brilliant glaze will degrade Americana if it is applied over top of Americana. I can personally attest that this is true. This got me thinking how it seems to be the norm to apply glaze before Americana, which I also do. So my question is why does this not have the same effect, or if it does, why does it seem to degrade less when applied before Americana?
  11. Talk to your parts manager about getting some in stock.
  12. That's kind of what I was thinking. Anyone else have any input?
  13. to AA. (Adamaholics Anonymous) I would highly recommend Adam's microfiber and glass cleaner, with appropriate MF glass towels on your next order. Adam's glass cleaner is probably my favorite product. I own every Adam's MF except the new metal polish towels and I will never use any other towels on my car again, they are all AMAZING! And if you want to reduce scratches on the door jambs, try some waterless wash.
  14. So there's something nasty on the felt window guides in both front doors. When I roll the windows down and back up it leaves white residue streaks on the tint. I'm going to remove the door panels to clean the felt and was wondering what the best thing to clean this would be.
  15. You're on the right track! The pressure will be in the hose behind the restriction. this pressure differential is what creates an increase in fluid velocity out of the nozzle. The larger the diameter of the hose, the greater the pressure differential and thus, higher velocity out of the nozzle.
  16. I'm not disagreeing with you, just providing Larry with the facts so he can make an informed decision.
  17. I haven't used the flex on m car yet. My first time was on this car. Took me around 13 hours to wash, remove pin stripes, wash again, clay, polish, seal, glaze, and americana. Last time I did my G8 I used the PC and it took me around 22-24 hours to do the same process, minus removing pinstripes and a second wash.
  18. The size of the leader hose does matter and it will affect flow. The total system will only flow as much fluid as the smallest diameter in the system will allow. Larry, your best bet is to make your own hose. Check out McMaster Carr or Grainger for supplies to make said hose. Just keep in mind that even if you get a bigger leader hose you will still be limited by the hard lines inside the hose reel which are usually 1/2" or 5/8".
