  1. Showed the ole girl some much needed love today! Washing the car and getting it all cleaned up was great therapy with finals going on!
  2. Hadn't been on here in what seems like forever but ticked 24k in the FR-S today. She's holding up to my abuse like a champ. Planning on washing it tomorrow sometime, such crappy weather this past week here in San Antonio/New Braunfels.
  3. Not today but yesterday i cleaned the car and slapped a new silver die cut sticker on the back window for a cleaner look. Still figuring the forums layout out. Hadn't been on in a while since the forum doesn't work on tapatalk. Hadn't disappeared yet! LOL
  4. I'm in the same boat for the americana waxed the boat the other day and well it was a tear jerker! have the patriot for the car!
  5. Yesterday I installed new stainless lines, motul rbf600 fluid and hawk race compound front pads and hawk hps pads for the rear! This car stops on a dime. They're pretty loud but i can now get me a "brakes squeal because racecar" sticker! Also realized in the 16,800 miles I've put on the car I've driven the piss out of it so the stock tires were pretty shot. Today, I got some pilot super sports and just replaced the same size 215/45/17
  6. Thanks! Gotta play the good stuff. Sister bought me two cases back in April for my birthday!
  7. Soaking in the rays here in McQueeney, Texas! Gave it a wash and slapped another layer of patriot on her!
  8. I am willing to bet that its surface rust since you are letting water sit on the rotor. The all purpose cleaner isn't the cause but just the water. I typically just back into the garage with the pads just slightly hitting the rotor to knock the rust off and clear the water to prevent that. Hope this helps!
  9. Got some goodies in for the car! Race compounds for the front, HPS's for the rear, stainless lines and RBF600 because racecar!
  10. It is very possible to do that in the garage too! neat little car IMO. A seriously different kind of fun than what American muscle can offer! If only someone LS swapped a 500!
  11. I've had three set of KM2's when i had my Tacoma and not sure how you use your truck off road but nothing IMO comes close to the BFG's. The tread clears real easy for mud tires they ride smooth as hell and just as quiet as an all terrain in most cases. On the rocks it is essentially a channeled Krawler T/A lug pattern/sidewall and just bit the rocks. These were also suprisingly good in the sand hard and soft deep stuff on the international sea shore on Padre Island here in Texas. Also got 50k+ out of each set rotating and balancing them every 5,000 miles. The Tacoma had a habit of throwing weights all the time. About the only other mud terrain ive liked is the hankook dynapro M/T but its not as aggressive as other mud terrain tires on the market. Whenever im in another truck i'll be buying some KM2's for it! would recomend to anyone and everyone.
  12. it sort of is capable of it, took my sisters for a spin when my FR-S was in the shop. It's a fun little go cart!
  13. This^^ That would have been fun to grow up in driving!
  14. Pops 99 wangler and that thing took forever to wax with the bumpers racks lights and all sorts of offroad crap. It began my hatred for black. Used Meg's until I found Adams! The first thing I washed that I drove was my old 07' 4x4 TRD offroad Tacoma!
  15. Plugged the blasted sound tube in the FR-S today! Best couple bucks I've spent! I can now use the phone and understand people easier and hear my music! Also did the 15k service today!
  16. Cleaned this dirty girl up after running out in the hill country this weekend! Also got it looking good for the supposed 30% chance of rain... Should be good for the week though to enjoy the car!
  17. It starts small and just consumes you. You can ask Jason! He takes quite a bit of my cash!
  18. Looking good! Glad you actually abuse the truck of the pavement like it should be!
  19. Looks good! Always dug the later year of that generation Silverado/Sierra
  20. Welcome! One more from the San Antonio area if what I'm seeing in the pictures are areas I think they are!
