  1. That would be lovely, the sidewall lugs on these Trail Grapplers are not fun to get SVRT into.
  2. Thanks guys! I'm really happy with how it turned out and can't wait for them to see it! I wanted to leave then my truck and just take the CTS haha
  3. Well I'm keeping my aunt and uncles dogs while they are on vacation. She got the car for a Christmas present and I don't think it's been washed since it left the dealership. I got bored, and it was warm outside so I decided to give her a wash and wax. Maybe they'll pay me to come wash it next time and I can buy some new supplies. Here she is all cleaned up, just a 2 bucket wash, clay, then finished with Buttery wax. Wish I had Brilliant Glaze and Americana to really show off. Also SVRT on tires. This is my first time doing a black vehicle.... So glad I don't own one!!
  4. I hit mine again after I clay, just to be sure she's completely clean. Doesn't take long to hit it another quick lick. But you don't have to wash it either.
  5. Well this is my first detailing since I got this truck a few months ago. It's seen hunting, farm, freezing rain, mud, and everything in between. Needless to say it was bad. So I had today off and decided to detail her. I did a 2 bucket strip wash, clay bar, rewashed, Quick Sealant on the lower quarter of the truck and the entire front of the truck, then finished with Buttery Wax. Also SVRT on bumpers and mirrors. It started raining right before I got the wax on, so I pulled it in the garage to finish it. Anyways on to pictures! Dirty truck: Clean(ish) on the left, dirty on the right: Dirt line: Dirty wash water... Gotta love that grit guard! After wax (hope it will stop raining so I can pull it out and get better pictures)
  6. Great looking truck! Paint your bow-tie red, and get some tow mirrors and paint them red. Then it will be perfect!
  7. I'm really close to pulling the trigger on some Glass Cleaner Kit, and the microfiber towels in the daily special now. Got in the truck this morning and you could see lint where I cleaned the windows yesterday. Wonder if Adam's will do the 4th package in a month for free shipping? Damnit. I had to do it. Glass Cleaner Kit, and the micofiber Daily special. Came out to $50, but for real this time! I'm done for awhile! Stop making me want things Adam's!!! I'd saved so much money to order this all at the same time haha
  8. I've been looking at the Glass Cleaner kit (towel and sealant) and I'm really having to talk myself into not buying it! Four Adam's orders in a month? Need to cut up my card haha!
  9. I'm working on the latter. The only thing I haven't picked up on deal was Buttery and Quick Sealant so far!
  10. Oh for sure. I just wish I had some more funds to get more stuff, but they've gotten 3 order from me this month haha! Stuff works so much better than what I was using before. I can't wait to test out this Buttery and SVRT. I also can't wait to step up to Americana eventually! Can't believe I've never heard of / used Adam's before!
  11. Bought a new (to me) truck a few months ago, and it has leather in it. My first ever vehicle with leather. So after tons of winter months of bad weather, hunting, mud, dog in the backseat (he has a cover on it), sand, and just overall nastiness I decided enough was enough. Time for me to finally use these Adam's products I bought this month. Unfortunately I have no before and after pictures... Fail I know. So I pulled the Weathertechs out (they were more brown than black) and rinsed them off good. Then shot them down with some All Purpose Cleaner, let them sit for a good 20-30 seconds, and gave them a scrub with my old tire brush. Dirty melted away! Didn't take any elbow grease at all to clean that dried mud off. Then I vacuumed the interior. Grabbed a microfiber (not a Adam's brand... I'm working on my supply! Gimme a break!) and the Leather and Interior cleaner. Again I was amazed at how easy dirty fell off. I gave EVERYTHING a wipe down! Seats, door seals, dash, everything got a cleaning. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh so much better already, but now its time for the most nerve racking part. The Leather Conditioner. I had read some post in another thread about it being hard to use, not going very far, and I was a tad apprehensive. I grabbed my red applicator, and put the recommended amount of Conditioner on it, and dove right into the driver seat. It spread amazingly well, and lasted a LONG time. I kept feeling the pad and it was still moist with product! I did the 2 front seats, and both front doors with just the first application! You could tell it was "wet" when I was applying it, and left a nice deep dark look to it! I did the whole interior with 3 applications, and the last two were just small amounts to get some fresh product on the pad. Before I knew it, the interior was cleaned and looking great!!! Also... some people don't like the smell of the Leather Conditioner... I think it smells good! My next step was to hit the windows in and out... Unfortunately I don't have the Glass Cleaner yet (like I said... I'm building my stock up!) so it was just plain ole Windex. So while I was debating on whether to pull out the truck and wash it... 45 degrees with a NNW wind at 25-35 (took me about 0.4 seconds to decide not to) I noticed my door jambs were awful. Now... this is a truck. It goes to the farm, it hunts, its a DD. Its gonna be nasty. So I grabbed my travel sized bottle of Detail Spray I got in my Mystery Box and a regular towel. Spray the door jamb and wiped the mud and junk off with it. Fell right off with the Detail Spray. So now its looks a TON better, and yes I know it could scratch the paint the way I got it off. Its already scratched up in there though, and its just gonna get nasty again. I won't be looking at it that closely anyways! So far I'm SUPER impressed with Adam's products. Everyone always talked about they were the best, and so far they don't let down that reputation. I can't wait to be able to wash it (tomorrow hopefully) to be able to use the SVRT, Buttery Wax, and Double Soft Towel. There are so many things I want to add to my stock still! In due time I guess. Also had to buy something to store all my stuff in! Double-Soft is in the wash and not pictured in the 'Pad / Towel Box' unfortunately. Also Quick Sealant Kit, and 2 grit guards are in the mail as we speak!
  12. I imagine its just glued on. Heat it up (hair dryer works) and get fishing line and run it back and forth to peel them off. Then take 3M eraser wheel to get glue off. Then the necessary steps to get rest of remaining glue off.
  13. Well just placed my order. This is the 3rd order I've made this month. I gotta cut this out!
  14. The truck is a 2006 silver Duramax. It's my DD. It goes to the farm, it hauls tractors and UTV's, it gets muddy. With all that said, I like to keep it clean. So its by no means perfect, and it may go 3-4 months without a wash (where its currently at, and mostly just because its winter). Also I already have a clay bar, so thats off the table as well. Why I'm kinda thinking of the Quick Sealant which would help to get these bugs off that will plaster the front in a few months. Previous owner treated it right with Americana, and its a good looking truck. Its just not kept show room quality day in and out. Like I said I enjoy a clean and good looking truck, so I was thinking maybe Quick Sealant kit, and some grit guards for my buckets, or maybe QS kit and Brilliant Glaze. Or like someone said maybe some towels. I'm really stumped on this purchase haha
