Adam's Total Interior Detailer Discussion
rkdiddy replied to Team Adam's's question in Interior Cleaning & Care
I've used both Sonax and Einszett cockpit - Einszett being my favorite? I would love a comparison between TID and EC. -
Hey Everyone, Being it was a holiday weekend - I decided to take advantage of having access to our second car (since my Wife was out of town) and detailed our G35s over the weekend. Steps Used: 1. Washed vehicle - Adams CW 2. Rinsed with CR Spotless 3. Clayed entire vehicle with Adams Clay and TONS of Detail Spray 4. Two passes with PC/Gen 2 Orange Pad and SHR 5. One pass with PC/Gen 2 White Pad and FMP 6. One pass with PC/Gen 2 Black Pad and MSW 7. Applied BW Final Touches: 1. Adams new Window Cleaner () on all of the windows. 2. Tires with VRT. 3. Interior trim with VRT. It was a lot of work, but definately rewarding - I think it turned out great. The only negative was I went through a bottle of Detail Spray - I blame it on Junkman. For anyone that has had the privilege of watching him do his magic, you will quickly find out he must own stock in Detail Spray. I snapped a few shots with my phone before I left for work this morning. My little helper Sawyer - don't worry I didn't put any VRT on his tire. But I would be lying if I didn't say it crossed my mind. Let me know what you think.

Where does Americana go?
rkdiddy replied to Cyclone's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
After seeing Dylan's SS @ the clinic I would follow anything he says. His detail job was a thing of beauty - I'm pretty sure I could eat off the inside of his wheels. -
Americana Question
rkdiddy replied to DP77/00Vette's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Wouldn't it be the other way around - don't polish, but wax is ok. I thought it was the clearcoat being soft is why you didn't want to do any "drastic" detailing. -
ShamWow - worthless
rkdiddy replied to Greg Raven's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
"It's made in Germany - you know the Germans make good stuff". I lol everyt ime I hear that. Anyways, I wouldn't use it on my car - I will stick with Adam's Microfiber Waffle Towels instead. -
Adam demo'd this at the recent detail clinic - a very cool towel. I totally forgot to ask for one when I purchased my Glass Cleaner.

High Pressure Washer for CR Spotless

I'm sorry that is what I meant - any suggestions? -
High Pressure Washer for CR Spotless
rkdiddy posted a question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I have a CR Spotless (which is awesome) - I recently replaced the resin after 5-months of use averaging at least washing 1 of my cars per week (20 washes / $75 = $3.75/wash). I've heard I can further expand the life of the resin by using a power washer in conjunction. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good high pressure washer? Thanks! -

Professional Wash Pad
rkdiddy replied to Team Adam's's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Just picked up one of these (jumbo size - that's how I roll) at the detail clinic over the weekend... I washed my truck this evening and I must say WOW I've been really missing out. I've been using the older Adam's white waffle foam pad and I really didn't like it at all. It seemed to have a knack for only absorbing the water from my soapy bucket. -- whoa - just had an earthquake while I was typing this - - Anyways, this thing rocks - highly recommend it. -

What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Ok, resized the photos. I have owned it since it was new...it's my baby (well one of them). One is on the driverside fender arch and the other is on the driverside hood arch (about 10 inches from the other). I thought maybe it was the clearcoat cracking, but like I said running your finger over it, it is smooth. I actually have to be up in Torrance for a shoot tomorrow. Does anyone know if Adams still has an office up there? -

Hi Guys, Thanks for the replies. Here are a couple more photos - I used a dime to give you an idea of the size. No I've never been hit by an egg (thank goodness). Also, they look like they would be rough to the touch, but they're not. FYI - the haze inside the crackeled spot is the reflection of my street number sign. Thanks. -

I was washing my G today and noticed these two spots on the paint that I haven't seen before. I take very good care of my cars (detailing regularly - PC, Adams and Menzerna products) - so I'm not sure where these came from. Please look at the below and let me know if you know what these are and most importantly how do I get rid of them.
