  1. Here's a question considering I've never done the IPA wipedown before. What should I wipe it down with? waterless MF or Single Soft towels? Should I rewash the car after? or just continue on to claying? I have to get the tar off the wheel wells after that. The Dawn and APC does work. I still had wax on the Stang from last summer (summer car. garage kept over winter) and it beaded up when I wet the car before the wash. When I rinsed no such beads, at all. I just want to make sure that all of the previous product is off so I can start fresh with Adams stuff. Hence the wipedown questions. Thanks guys Rob
  2. Absolutely gorgeous. Great find, well worth the wait I'm sure.
  3. Here are the pics as promised: 2 of the van: And 2 of the car: I still have some work to do on the car.. El Storcho
  4. I'm working on the pics, too busy detailing. And yes I'm addicted now. I just did a wash and coat of Americana on the brand new 13 Caravan R/T. It is black it looks like liquid sex now. I can't say enough about the products. I haven't used one that I don't like. Ease of use etc. The glass cleaner is all I will use now, inside the house and for the cars. I can honestly say that I hate Adam for making such great products as now my detailing addiction will completely interfere with my work schedule. And that other guy Dylan for explaining things so simply in the instructional videos. Pics soon. El STorcho just kidding about the hating Adam and Dylan thing. 2 stand up guys IMO
  5. I finally broke out the products today and did the outside of my 05 Black corolla. I wasn't particularly a skeptic that this was good stuff, i just wanted to make sure for myself. When all was said and done the only thing I could say was "Holy F**k", (sorry not intended to offend anyone). This is the absolute best product on the market. I couldn't believe the results. Strip wash Clay SSR SHR FMP 2 light coats of Americana Didn't use the sealant as it was getting late. That's why the Americana. If the Americana is this good the Patriot must be stellar. Tomorrow I will toss the other detailing crap that I collected throughout the years and will only stick with Adams. I'm sure that some of the more experienced members may have achieved better results. I still have some very very light microscratches but it looks better than the day I picked it up at the dealer 8 years ago. I'm still in the learning stage as well. I was so impressed that I ordered another $300.00 worth of "treats" Thanks Adams!! and Thanks to the members of this forum for making this easy. El STorcho
  6. Welcome, That step is on sale @ CTC for $34.00 just picked one up. Very sturdy. Regular $75 ROb
  7. LaSHoooosh you are just about an hour south of me!
  8. That made me laugh! I figured I'd try the Americana first and maybe later pick up some Brilliant Glaze. As for the undercarriage spray that is something I intend to pick up. I have been working a ton of O/T so almost all of the extra $$ has gone to Adam and his troops. Well worth the investment in my opinion. How long can I expect my supplies to last? I have 2 black and 1 white vehicles. 1 black one is only a month old, paint in great shape little correction if any. the other black car requires correction - lots of swirls and halograms My white car needs correction too. lots of swirls. Rob
  9. My bad about the towels. I'm a hoarder. lol. I only have 4 Dbbl and 8 sinlges. I figure I have almost $1000.00 tied up so far. That didn't take long at all.
  10. It all looks so nice and fresh and new I almost hate to muck it all up but that's what its for. I did open one of the MF towels. It was awesome. I previously was using a cheap POS towel from canadian tire. What a difference. I guess I actually caused most of the swirls myself by using crap stuff. I now see the error of my ways, My time in the penalty box is over, Now if it would stop raining we'd be all set and I could get to work. Rob
  11. My collection is not as extensive as some others, I thought I'd share what I've been collecting all winter. I haven't had the chance to try this stuff out yet I've just been collecting up until now. Sorry for the grainy pics. I also have some assorted fender brushes, some H/D buckets, some home made drying racks that I found on this forum. I think I'm stocked up pretty good to start off with. I may end up ordering the leather and interior kit soon. Is there anything missing that I may need that you can spot? Thanks for the input! El STorcho
