I used this stuff for the first time and I love it!! I did the wheels on my Regal GS last weekend and I did the wheels on my Camaro today. The stuff beads up like nothing I've seen before.

I use it after every wash. I love how the surface feels and how it beads up!

Gallon or smaller sizes?
SSJ455 replied to Jrosacker's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I have the car shampoo and detailer in gallon sizes as they are cheaper per ounce then if I bought the smaller bottles. I have small spray bottles for the detailer to keep in the trunk for when I need it. -
Does a Hand Application Still Work Good?
SSJ455 replied to BobMcC81's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I use the Liquid Paint Sealant and I apply it by hand all the time, in fact I have never used a polisher to apply it. It works great! -
I am loving this stuff!! I know there are better pics of beading but I needed to share these. I used LPS about 6 months ago so it is time for another treatment but I wanted to try this.

Clayed windshield... what next?
SSJ455 replied to Laid GP's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I try to clay every two months or so, in between I am using glass cleaner to keep it clean. I am not doing serious highway driving so it stays fairly clean. I generally don't wax it. -
I can still feel it after I washed it yesterday.

Paint sealant procedure
SSJ455 replied to DaRealDeal's question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
I plan on doing a before winter seal myself. I'm going to strip the wax, clay the paint and use the LPS followed by a layer of Buttery Wax for some extra protection. -
I used it for the first time today on my Buick. I was a little skeptical at first but I do say I notice a difference after using it. I didn't do the nose of the car but did everything else and when I run the back of my hand across the surface I can feel the layer I put on in comparison to what I didn't do. Sold!

Nope. I don't use them. -
Using Rinseless Wash as clay lube?
SSJ455 replied to champ09's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
Sorry if this is a thread hijack but can the Rinseless Wash be used as a detail spray if it is diluted? Spray on, wipe off with the right towel. Would it work the same way? -
Cleaning method for weather tech floor liners?
SSJ455 replied to Zach5.9CTD's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I only use mine in the winter but when I do clean them I am using wheel cleaner, (not Adam's) (sorry guys). I scrub them and hose them off and they look nice. I don't "dress" them as I do not want anything that may become slippery. -
Dealer decided to wash my car...
SSJ455 replied to SJC96GT's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
When I bring my Buick in for service I always tell them not to wash it. They write it on the paperwork and put something on the dash that says Do Not Wash. -
In the past I was using LPS followed by Buttery Wax. They both are easy to apply and remove. This year I just went with LPS and my cars look great without the Buttery Wax follow up/

Ever wonder about other cars?
SSJ455 replied to Audog's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
I see it everyday and think that there are so many people who just see cars as a means of transportation. Sad. -
You talk about a coating. A coating of what? You use the paint correcting polish but what are you putting over it?

LPS is awesome stuff! We had some nice temps here in NY for the day after Thanksgiving so I gave both my cars a good wash and a coat of this stuff.

That's how I roll, dog.

I used Liquid Paint Sealant and then Buttery Wax.

Should I use water when washing my '67 GT350?
SSJ455 replied to Tusk's question in Washing, Drying, and Decontamination
While I do understand the reasons why you don't want to use a hose on the car, it would figuratively kill me not to be able to wash my car the traditional way. I find it relaxing and therapeutic in a way that just using a rinseless wash or detailing spray just doesn't do it for me in the same way. -

DIY Detailing Cart.
SSJ455 replied to emorgn's question in General Detailing Discussion and Questions
Holy spit that's cool!!!! -
I hate that crap!! Though it does make the tires very shiny, which I like, it is very expensive and if you get it on the wheels it is a b---- to get off. Have your friend get some good tire cleaner and a stiff brush and work that crap off the tire. And tell him if he touches your car with anything like that you'll use construction adhesive to glue his tires to the pavement.

Maintenance of Paint Sealant/HGG finish?
SSJ455 replied to BoCRon's question in Exterior Protection & Enhancement
I use the Liquid Paint Sealant with a layer of Buttery Wax. It may be overkill but waxing is therapeutic.
