  1. It's been 3 weeks now and I'll I've done is either a waterless wash or a quick going over with detail spray. I'm amazed at how great she shines!
  2. Thanks for all the help guys! I hit it good today (light mist of the glass cleaner) and spent the majority of time buffing and polishing with the glass cloth. looks like the haze is gone.
  3. I think it will be good after a few times with the GC and polishing cloth. Didn't have any issues driving home Saturday night.
  4. Thanks everyone! I'm loving the Adams shine!
  5. Thanks Gerry, I'll give it a go today. Were you able to find time to detail your G8?
  6. Complete detail is done. What do y'all think?
  7. Maybe 2 - 3 minutes Undoubtably not long enough - typical noob mistake! lol. Was trying to remember what Adam did demonstating it 2 weeks ago at the clinic in NJ.
  8. there was some sun - last Saturday was pretty much overcast when I applied it as I remember. Did the cross hatch application and clean/polish. It could be I didn't wait long enough to allow it to fully haze before removing. Would APC strip the sealant so that I can re-apply?
  9. HAAAALLLLLLPPPPP!!!!!!!! I sealed my windshield with the glass sealant last week - yes after claying and washing the glass with glass cleaner and When I pulled the car out of the garage today, I could see the glass in the sun is streaked and hazed! I tried misting and polishing with the cleaner but no difference! On the bright side, it looks fine from inside the car but not sure how it's going to be when light strikes it from different angles and at night.
  10. So the car has been washed, polished and waxed. Now how do I keep it popping? The car is garaged and only comes out on weekends so I assume either waterless wash or detail spray weekly to take care of the light dust. Would a coat of BG every couple of weeks over the Americana be good?
  11. I had a great time and definitely learned a few things. Thanks, Adam for showing me how to remove those waterspots on the sunroof of my Challenger! Ashley, It was a pleasure to meet you! Likewise, Gerry C. and Anthony.
  12. Just washed my 2010 Challenger using Adams products for the first time. All I can say is HOLY CRAP!!! I started with the wheels using the APC and the green wheel cleaner. On the Challenger, I could barely fit the brush inside the wheel wells to clean(SRTs sit lower than the others) but I still managed to get them scrubbed. The Green wheel cleaner did an amazing job on the large amount of brake dust (and I only drove the car 2 days!) that was coating the inside of the rims. I thought the 5 spoke would give me enough room to get a microfiber cloth and wash mitt in there but not quite good enough. Guess I'm buying a turbostick at next week's seminar! In the middle of doing the wheels, the 12X12 canopy I had just bought and put up decided to collapse at the first gust of wind on top of my car!!! Luckily it did not scratch the car. Note to self, next time save the box so you can return!! It was on sale at the Sears Outlet for $80.00. Maybe I can buy replacement hinges/connectors from the manufacturer.... I used 3 ounces of the shampoo and 3 ounces of the all purpose cleaner in 5 gal. of water (with a grit guard and a 2nd bucket set up to rinse also with a grit guard) to strip the car of whatever wax was on it from the dealer. I bought this car at then end of October, washed it once with Turtle wax ICE shampoo before storing it in the garage under cover for the winter. I could NOT believe how much crud the clay bar picked up out of the paint!! I went through 1/3 of the bar before I was done with the car! It was falling apart and I just couldn't knead it enough when I was 3/4 of the way done to bury all the contaminants. Now the car is ready for polish and wax. 1 quick noob question: Do I have to rewash the car now or just start with the swirl and haze remover? (doing a hand wax).
  13. And all I can say is WOW!! I used it on the stove and walls surrounding it and the grease and dirt just melted off! I used a 1:1 solution in a spray bottle. I can easily see how full strength with cut through tough spots! Thanks guys! I now have a new IN HOUSE cleaner as well!!
