I just ordered it earlier this week so I am hoping that it will be delivered by Thanksgiving. I can't wait to get it, the dealer has explicit directions not to "detail" it or put stickers of their dealer all over the place. I plan on leaving the dealer, getting the windows tinted, going home, wash, clay, fmp, apw. Granted this is if I get the days off I need but I don't see why not. Then I will treat the interior to keep it looking good and smelling good. I love the smell of the leather conditioner.

Jeff, I just joined challenger talk, got a detonator yellow srt8 on order, and I would have to agree just by reading some of the posts by some of the members. Chargerforums has its members who are the same way though. I think with the challenger it just isn't balanced because there are fewer users to keep a thread going in the right direction. Are there any other challenger websites you go to? When I get the car it will be detailed and I will post pictures, I promise.

For the WD-40 would you spray it on the car itself on the area needed or onto a rag to wipe the area?

I am not throwing out exact numbers here and I am sure Adam could figure out what his margins are on items and adjust the prices from there but I think it would make it better for customers who don't necessarily need those select items would be able to purchase four gallons of what they need. And no I couldn't say no that face.

I understand that deal but you are locked in to those four offerings. What I was saying is that if you were to purchase any four gallons offered, it would start at a base price of 109.95 and then if you added something like VRT to your selection that it would add like a 15 dollar premium or such or glass cleaner being 2 dollars more. That way I can mix and match my gallons, still save money by ordering in bulk, and end up with what I truly need when I order it. Does that make it clearer than what I originally posted?

That's good to hear because I won't have to worry about them being taped off and can go right over them. I will probably test it first on an inconspicuous spot first just to verify the results and then continue the application. I hope to do this all next weekend.

Use the clear polish even though its not for a clear application? The decals are matte black in color so I would never have thought to use clear polish.

Currently on my car there are the standard Daytona decals on the Charger that have always been a pain to keep clean. I assume the previous owner had it detailed because all the way around the edges of the decals is darker than the rest of it so I am assuming was got on the decals. Usually I just use DS to clean them and then VRT as a protectant but am never fully satisfied with how they look. I know some people that say they use either 303 Aerospace Protectant which is kind of like VRT from the way it is described while others will use the Turtle Wax Ice Paste Wax. This part intrigued me so when I placed my order I began to wonder if it would be safe to go right over the decals with the APW or if the turtle wax brand is nowhere near on the same level as APW and could possibly damage the decals.

Along with the ez fill funnel, i use a spout that screws on to gallon size bottles and pours neatly so I then have no problems. Before I used the funnel, the liquids would dribble down the side of the bottle.

I got scratch or two I would like to try this on.

I'll try and get that picture of what my hands look like hopefully over the next couple of days but I was wondering if you want me to send you what I have left of the clay. I wouldn't mind sending it back to you to look at.

Blue clay. I don't think it would be dry hands if I had to guess I would say my hands are always warm which may make the clay more pliable but don't think that would do much.
