  1. All Spoken for. Thanks for the interest. Doing some spring cleaning and would be happy to have someone make good use out of this assortment of stuff. The PC 7424 (not XP version) was purchased many years ago when I thought I should get into detailing my own cars. It never happened. Then I discovered Adams and purchased the backing plate and 7" pads. Then it only happened a couple of times. I have since purchased a Cyclo and Swirl Killer mini and am very happy with this combination. It is now happening on a regular basis. So, needless to say, this other stuff will never get used. I also have a few other items that are collecting dust, all in excellent, slightly used condition. Free to a good home, just pay the shipping costs. I am in Canada, just east of Toronto, so it will likely be limited to those of us who are north of the border. 1 - slightly used PC 7424 (not XP version) 1 - Adam's Premium 6" Machine Polisher Backing Plate-For Porter Cable 2 - Adam's 7" grey foam pads. 1 brand new, 1 slightly used 2 - Adam's 7" orange foam pads. 1 brand new, 1 slightly used 2 - Adam's 7 " white foam pads. 1 brand new, 1 slightly used 1 - Adam's 7" orange microfiber pad 1 - Adam's 7" white microfiber pad 1/2 bottle Adam's paint correcting polish 1/2 bottle Adam's paint finishing polish 1 - Adams Ultimate Merino Wool Car Wash Mitt 1 - Adam's car wash wedge
  2. I brought this to Dexter's attention yesterday. He said he is going to look into it.
  3. When the new wheel brush came out a while ago I got one in a mystery box. I then started using the old boars hair wheel brush on my wheel wells. Very little clearance on my Ford Fusion but it works pretty well.
  4. Truck looks amazing, Mike. Is that Whitby Audio in the background?
  5. Does anyone own one of these, or has worked on one, who can give me specifics on how to detail it? It has some light scratching on it and Matt's opinion ^^^ is he would not polish a matte surface. This would then rule out de-badging as well.
  6. Thanks for the responses. I am OK with badge removal, I was just concerned with doing it on this stuff. Can this be machine polished?
  7. I just swapped out my 250 for a 150 because I no longer needed the heavy truck. The 150 is the Platinum edition that comes with some kind of a decorative panel on the tail gate. What appears to be the same material is used in several other locations around the truck, including the front grill. How do I maintain this? Can it be polished? I doesn't look like clear coat finish. I would also like to remove the dealer badge but am afraid of causing damage.
  8. I was finding the opposite, Michael. Although the product was building up on the towel, as I went along there didn't seem to be enough water left in the towel to make it work. The panels were quite hot and was drying the towel so the product wasn't providing proper coverage.
  9. About a week ago I did a paint correction and applied liquid paint sealant to my 2014 Ford Fusion. I was very pleased with the results. After doing a 2 bucket wash today, and drying quickly with detail spray because of the sun, I thought lets try the H2O Guard and Gloss. I couldn't wait any longer to give this stuff a try, so I applied it using the dry application. I couldn't believe the difference. This stuff is amazing; it kicked it up another level. Unfortunately, I don't have a before shot for comparison. A few comments on the process: While doing the dry application, it was very sunny and the temp. was about 70 degrees. I was using 2 double soft microfiber towels. Even though the one towel was quite wet, it too seemed to be drying out quickly in the sun. At times it seemed as though the towel wasn't wet enough and I was racing to apply the product and remove it before it dried out completely. I tried compensating for this by refolding the towel to use a different area. This seemed to help and I was able to complete the application. I thought about re-soaking my towel during the process but it seemed to me that I could be wasting a lot of product that was building up in the towel, so I didn't do this. After I was done, I thought that maybe I could have spritzed the towel with a couple of shots of water from a spray bottle. Perhaps it was just too sunny for a smooth application but next time I'm going to give the spray bottle a shot.
  10. Eley hoses, reels, nozzles and accessories are all excellent products. U.S company with excellent customer service. http://www.eleyhosereels.com/
  11. Thank you all for the great responses. I now know there won't be any adverse effects if I use both the Total Interior Detailer and the Leather Conditioner. I am going to purchase the Leather Conditioner and play around with it to see what works for me.
  12. I have been using TID for a couple of years now and love the product. My interiors are not dirty so I never felt the need to go with Leather and Interior Cleaner; however, Dan (The Wolf), Rich and others have convinced me I need to try LC. I still have about a half gallon of TID left so I would like to continue to use it. My question is, is it OK to clean with TID and top it off with LC?
  13. I think you have just sold me on this, Dan. I have always just used the Total Interior Detailer on mine, which is a great easy on/easy off product, but this looks amazing. You getting a commission?
  14. Thank you, gents. I was hoping that was the case.
  15. I placed an order on the .ca site for some Patriot Wax, new Car Wash Shampoo, Microfiber Revilitizer and Detail Spray. The items are currently with FedEx with an expected delivery date of Monday. I have read lots on the liquid products freezing and, for the most part after they have thawed out they are fine. How does the Patriot stand up to freezing conditions?
  16. Any update on this. Is it going to make the cut?
  17. Adam's is currently testing one of these. Last I heard it was showing promising results. Here's hoping it will pass the test.
  18. It would be great if weekend warriors could read the posts - not have the ability to input, just review. I would hate to miss out on all this great information. I also fear the pros may just migrate to this section and weekend warriors would miss their valuable input on the rest of the site.
  19. Thank you for the replies, gentlemen. This is exactly what I was hoping and looking for. By the way, it is good to have you back Dylan.
  20. I took advantage of a recent sale and picked up a Cyclo. Unfortunately, I will now have to wait until spring to try it out. I have one question on my mind before I use it. One of my vehicles is an F250. These have some pretty extreme roof and hood lines. Do I need to take any precautions or apply a specific technique when going over/around these lines?
  21. Adam's is in the process of testing a wash brush on an pole to use when washing larger vehicles. Apparently it is showing great promise. This is something that would be great for winter washes as well. Use this, along with your 2 wash buckets, at the coin-op and you will be done in a fraction of time and with warm hands.
  22. ^^^^ I've been looking everywhere for something I would use on my truck. Even tried to come up with something I could rig up to an Ultimate Merino Wool Car Wash Mitt. Haven't found anything suitable yet.
  23. I've been using Adams Glass Cleaner and Glass Cleaning Towel on Rx glasses. iPads, iPhones etc for a while now, thinking what a great job it was doing. Hope this isn't causing damage??????
