Would you recommend putting Brilliant Glaze over Buttery Wax for more shine, or a second coat of Buttery Wax? Road trip coming up and bug splatter on my 2018 Stingray is a worry.
Well, when I folded it up a few times the mildew was only on the outside, small amount. After wash and dry I pulled a bag test and decided not to clay. That Americana has been on 8 months and still shines like just done!
As a follow up I used APC on trim and it removed all wax marks. Reapplied VRT and did a Brilliant Glaze layer on paint, looks so good! Thanks for the advice.
I did use VRT and blue tape before waxing and couldn't understand the white showing up around 10 days after waxing. At first I thought maybe it was a reaction between the VRT a freind gave me and the 303 Aerospace Protectant I had been using for years. But now I see the white residue is only in spots and a reaction would have been all over. I did get some tape release from the VRT and this is probably where some wax got through.
I have etching on my hood, this weekend I used SSR, SHR, FMSS, with my Porter Cable. Got 93% of them but a few were a little to deep. How can I know a stop go no further point so I don't eat off all my clear. Car is a 2010 Velocity Yellow Corvette.
