Buttery glaze and Americana..

Guest Uncle Jesse

Question

Guest Uncle Jesse

Sorry guys, i stepped away from the board for awhile and came back.. what is the difference between the buttery glaze and Americana? Should one be done before the other or in place off? I have been using revive polish, swirl and haze remover and buttery glaze.. just wondering about the Americana stuff.

Thanks

I think you have a couple if things mixed up. There is Buttery Wax which has not changed - Very smooth, hand-applied liquid wax. There is a new formulation of Brilliant Glaze (formerly Brilliant Spray Glaze). This can be used on top or under Buttery or Americana to fill small imperfections and give paint, glass, & chrome extra "pop". Normally glazes are not long lasting, but by applying BG, then topping that with Americana it has shown to last for several weeks.

As for Americana Paste Wax, it came out last year, and while more expensive than OTC paste waxes, it makes every color car stand out and one pot will last for a loooong time.
