the song is Johnny Cash's - God's Gonna Cut You Down, which is just a great song. I'm a huge Cash fan.

Hey aren't you one of those GM guys that're still plugged into the matrix? :jester:

Buy the wife an SRT Jeep. Just a thought.

Not at all... one of my first few rides was a lifted '87 Jeep Wrangler.

Problem with them in the recent past is the quality has been severely lacking. Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep have been turning out solid rental car quality cars (Sebring, 300, Avenger, etc) With the exception of cars like yours I'd pretty much given up on them.

This interests me enough that I might actually look at their stuff when the time comes. I drove the JGCSRT8 when I was trying to decide between that and the TBSS... other than the slightly higher power I wasn't all that impressed with the JGC at the time. Not to mention that with just a couple hundred bucks in upgrades to the TBSS I was having no problem running with them and I could still pull a trailer :D

I grew up listening to Johnny Cash, I had no choice since Dad was a huge JC fan. I remember buying American IV: The Man Comes Around in mid November 2002. I came home to an empty house, cranked up the old Carver amps and made the house sing. That CD, IMO, was probably his swan song. It moved me like no other Johnny Cash and is still in my CD player in the G8. It lived in my S-10, then my F150.

American companies in general are picking up the game of quality. My Wrangler is the only Chrysler product I would buy up until now. The new GC looks beautiful, with great body lines (IMO) and a top class interior. The gas mileage is still lacking, but I'd buy one anyway. The thing I love about my Wrangler is it has very little electronics, which has been Chryslers problem since mid 1990's. A friend in our Jeep Club had a WJ Grand Cherokee and just traded it in due to continuos electrical problems. Guess what he got, an XJ Grand Cherokee. Less electronics that can go wrong, and a very strong suspension (that'll be built up, of course).
