Joshman
I'm in the process of winterizing the body of the Charger, and had to snap a pic of this, too bad I'm late to enter the reflection contest. This is my trunk deck lid, it's the only part of the car that's seen direct sun since I started this process. I'm starting off claying the panel I'm working on, then a light polish with FMP, following up with Revive, then SMW, waiting 12 hrs, buffing it down again and then applying another coat of SMW. After all of that I am laying down a coat of Brilliant Glaze (the new stuff) but haven't gotten to that on this panel yet. I can't wait to see what the other panels look like in the sun. I'm not doing a full polish now because I'm sure after winter there will be lots of fresh things to polish away so I can start with SHR in the spring. ExpressThis13
Nice reflection pic I was in the process of doing my car today also but it was so **** cold that the clay was really hard to work with and about half way through it started gettin really cloudy and I heard its suppose to get pretty cold tonight down to the point of frost. Hopefully them Hawkeyes beat Penn. State tonight.
Joshman
Yeah Jeff, I opted for the R&T package, and glad I did. It's a lot of fun. I hear ya about the clay Eric, I had to work it and just hold it for about 5 minutes before it was as pliable as I wanted it. Getting down-right chilly here in the midwest in the mornings and evenings. I've been spending between 2-3 hours at a session polishing and waxing, and I still have the grille, rear bumper, and both sides of the car. Hopefully if the weather does what it's predicted to do and stays nice I'l have the whole job done by Wednesday, then I'll have to go find some where to take some good pics. 70'sChevyGirl
I love my RT but yours is cleaner than mine right now. Nice job!
Joshman
I think the only reason it's cleaner is that it's been in the garage for almost a week now trying to get all the waxing and polishing done while the weather is favorable. - Second layer of MSW on the drivers side, then the process on the passenger side, rear bumper and grill/front bumper yet to go. Keeps me busy while I'm waiting for my winter wheels to arrive.
