Anyone ever paint-correct a 99 Tahoe?

A friend of mine is going to be leaving his mom's 99 black Tahoe with me for a few days, and I know it needs some love. But before I jump in with both feet, does anyone have any insight on these trucks? Is the clear/paint a nightmare to work with? I don't want to bite off more than I can handle.

It's GM's finest Black 8555..

 

Just kidding about the 'finest' part. I own 2 black GM SUVs, both are GM 8555 Black. You shouldn't have any problem getting that paint to respond to your efforts. IMHO it's relatively soft paint.

Your a detail master so I predict no problems.

Those are actually pretty easy to work on, also no complicated body lines or gaps to deal with so its pretty straight forward.
