lakemarykid
Washed the truck today and installed a 2.5" Leveling kit since the last pictures. Still have not had a chance to tackle the tacky chrome. Going to break out the heat gun tomorrow afternoon and go to town. Used Adam's soap, simple green on the wheels, and finished off the trim and tires with some VRT. Used Detail spray when drying and I liked how it worked. Being a white truck, you can't see the major paint correction needed in the pictures. I'm hoping for Christmas I'll purchase a Porter Cable kit and go to town on the swirls and scratches. -Curtis- ________ Hyde Park Residence

Osok
Looks good! You must blow through VRT with that huge band of trim under the whole truck.
whiterp199
The huge band on the bottom is painted. I could not imagine the vrt needed if it was plastic.

lakemarykid
Still haven't gotten those chrome pieces off I see Looking good! Got the mirror covers off! Woohooo!!!! The door handle covers are next! There is a scrape on the very bottom of the driver's side mirror cap but that's ok. Tow mirrors are in the future. The black trim on the front is broken slightly too, but i will live. Can't wait to get the rest off! -Curtis- ________ Problems With Depakote

lakemarykid
Classy not tacky. Going to try the Mark LT look for a little while. I think it ties in the nerf bars. Still need to clean the rest of the 3M off all the others. Going to let the sun hit them tomorrow. -Curtis- ________ Like2Squirt live
