Cleaning Cloth Seats

earlbert

Question

I just bought a used jeep liberty for my daughter this weekend. It has cloth seats that need to be cleaned. My other cars have had leather seats so I do not know how to clean the cloth ones. I have the Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner that I can use. How do I apply and how much product should I use? Thanks!

I don't have cloth seats but whenever I detail cars that have em the carpet and upholstery cleaner works amazingly. Just put as much as you would for cleaning carpets and extra if there is a stain. I use the horse hair interior brush for seats. Also you can coat it after with some 303 fabric guard but that's very optional.

What I do with mine is....

1. Vacuum the area's you wish to clean first.

2. Spray a few mists on the area (usually 2)

3. Brush in different directions with the Interior Brush to spread the C&UC around.

4. Take a WW Towel and ether dab or wipe the product up, usually the cloth will turn a brown color from picking up the dirt.

Usually yields pretty awesome results.

I also believe the instructions are on the back of the bottle.
