Black is a Career

I am not referring to the black finish on a vehicle, but a new Kohler cast iron sink done in black porcelain. We just completed a kitchen remodel a few months ago and the wife wanted a black sink to go with her black granite counter tops. Where we ran into the problem, was the county utilities water system changed some chemicals in the water treatment and now we have a white film in the sink. She has tried everything to get it back to the gloss black and nothing worked. Well seeing I am retired, when she left for work yesterday I got out the Swirl and Haze Remover, a microfiber applicator and a plush blue microfiber towel. Two coats of the SHR and one coat of Revive the sink was back to new. I wish I had a camera to get the look on her face when she got home.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

I also introduced her to the metal polish for her silver in the china cabinet when she was putting it back together after the remodel and new hardwood flooring was finished. She now see’s why I buy so many products and from now on I don’t think she will say much when I place my next order.

Hahaha... Soft scrub or Comet works well too. Scrub it in and let it sit for a few minutes. Lime Away works well if they're hard water deposits.

We have a gas stove that's all stainless except where the burners are (black)... What a PITA to keep clean... Ugh... My car and then the stove... lol
