Heineken
Most of their units are made in Somerset, PA. Originally Emglo until DeWalt bought them and moved the manufacturing to Mexico (shame on them). These things are bulletproof. They cost more than a Mexican made DeWalt but are worth every penny. I have a 5 HP 60 gallon stationary and 2 HP twin-stack portable and have never had to do anything with them other than change the oil. Heineken
From the way I understand it Dewalt bought Emglo just for the name. Jenny bought the equipment to build the compressors and keeps making them here in PA. They still build some of the components for DeWalt/Emglo though. mike6187
Decker and Black sold Emglo to Jenny after they moved their operations to Mexico. Old blue air compressors are now back and they are now labeled as Jenny

Heineken
DeWalt manufacturers stuff all over the world. Some of their larger compressors are still made in the USA but most of the smaller ones appear to come from China/Mexico. This is one of my original Emglo models made in the USA. After Dewalt bought them it is made in China. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/DEWALT-Portable-Air-Compressor-1VAP1?Pid=search Nice thing that Grainger posts the country of origin on their websites.
