Thank you to all my fellow veterans and welcome home. I served with the First Cavalry Division in Vietnam during 1967. It was a long time ago but I still remember what happened on certain days. I may not be able to remember what I had for lunch yesterday, but I can remember exactly what I was doing over 40 years ago. It was such an unreal experience that virtually everything we did has been burned into my memory.

My grandfathers missed WWI ( one was too young, the other too old) and my father missed WWII. Dad did serve in the US Navy during the Korean War, but he spent his time in the Mediterranean Sea first on board the USS Franklin Roosevelt:
