LOL, you ever look at a Mont Blank pen? I was ready to spend over 500$ for a nice pen, but it didn't come with a good case or box for presentation purposes. I ended up with a 300$ Cartier pen, but of course someone clipped it. Nice thing about this pen, the cap doesn't fit on the top, so you have to hold the cap while someone else uses it. I am really liking the 100% copper one, but it's expensive.

I'm in sales, and I enjoy putting on a good presentation for people when they sign for their new cars. My office is kept cleaner than any other office, I always have chocolates and snacks for my customers. Hell, I even keep a double soft MF in my draw to show people the care that should go into cars and of course promote Adams along the way. So having a nice pen is just part of my whole gig.

I accidently steal pens all the time. I'm so used to clipping them to my collar, sweater lanyard, pocket's that it's second nature to Judy clip it after use.

Yea... I'm much the same way... and then in previous jobs where I was interacting with people a lot my expensive nice pens would disappear. Rarely did I think it was on purpose, though there were times where you could tell someone liked your pen and was just trying to snake it when you weren't paying attention.

When I bought my truck I accidentally left the dealer with a really nice pen.... I took it back b/c I can sympathize about losing them.

I've been eyeing this pen as well.

It uses a Fisher Space Pen refill. Fisher is another Made in the USA company. They are the only pens that I use and they have a variety of price points.

I just noticed they are making a cigar punch / pen. I'll have to get this too.

I always have a bullet pen either in my pocket or tucked into the placket of my shirt.

I've also acquired a bunch of Cap-o-matics as well. (The 8 dollar pen writes as well as the more expensive bullets becuasue they all use the same refill). The Military Pen is built solid and is only 12 dollars.

Your local office supply store may have a small selection. I've had good success with a vendor named cyber space pens. If you hunt around online you can usually save a few bucks than buying direct from the manufacturer.

Dang pretty cool man, thanks for posting. I love using solid pens, and in reading the description I just learned why my F-301 is called that, because of the stainless steel:rockon: Also, I'm glad that it works up to temps of 250 degree's in case I'm ever signing a check on the surface of the sun :)

Let's just say if it goes through the washer or dryer, it won't be a problem…. not that I do that frequently.

I probably have about 15 different pens from Fisher. I would only caution you on two pens, the Millenium Pen and the Zero Gravity Series.

The Millenium contains a lifetime of ink, but I rarely use it because it just doesn't feel as balanced as the rest of their line. Plus the clip is in an awkward position when writing.

The Zero Gravity pen has a nice balance, but the stupid cap keeps unscrewing on me. I'd probably carry this daily, but the cap that you push to retract the refill drives me nuts. They have offered me a replacement, but I just haven't gotten around to returning it.

If you have any questions, fire away.
