Boosted
I want the new one that they're saying is coming... Unfortunately it's not coming to the States... Supposed to have the 5.0 under the hood now though... ChevyMan23
In a few of the shots you see what looks like a small pickup. It is a Maloo and it has the same LS3 motor they put in the Camaro and Vette with a few mods. Here are a few picks from this years Hot Rod Power Tour. They shipped in three of them just for it. I was at the Bowling Green stop of the Power Tour, did these cars go the whole way? I never did see them. I like 'em.
Chewy
Personally, I don't think those P/U trucks would go over here. I for one wouldn't own one, because I can't put my family in it. Most Americans (right or wrong) buy at least an extended cab truck so they can haul their children. I LOVE the look of them though. My biggest contention with the Commodore based cars is their front suspension. It leaves A LOT to be desired. Chris

They are quite lively to drive, very light in the rear. They are mostly owned by young males or older males who have a family car as well. I believe they re-calibrated the suspension for the American market ie made it softer. Piss poor upper strut mounts and weak ball joints lead to premature wear and failure. I have all Pedders under mine now with some BMR sway bars and trailing arms mixed in for more fun. It surprises A LOT of people now. Chris
