Ian6
wanted to double check that the MP is safe on brushed aluminum cuz a new tailgate bezel and interior pieces aint cheap. thanks
0 Team Adam's
Its safe on aluminum, but if it has a brushed finish you really don't want to polish it... brushed finish is basically uniform scratches. Polishing would be an attempt to 'un-brush' the aluminum. I guess you could work with the grain of the finish.
0 Ian6
thanks dylan, hmm well what would recommend to clean brushed aluminum then cuz I've tried the wash pad with the adams shampoo but it seems like the dirt is in between the grain
0 Team Adam's
Have you tried just blasting it with a heavy stream from the hose, working with the grain?
0 Chris@Adams
APC and a soft brush?
0 Team Adam's
I'd avoid the APC just in case it got trapped in the grain like the dirt seems to have, it could potentially discolor... maybe soap/water with a trim and lug nut brush or waterless wash with the same.
