cleaning PC pads with a new tooth brush

gymrat7953

Question

In another thread a forum member recommended brushing the wash mit with a hair brush to extend its life & avoid dreads. It gave me the idea of brushing my PC pads with a toothbrush ( new of course). soft bristle tooth brush / APC and the pads look like new plus you're removing the wax from the pads pores.

I've used brushes for cleaning in the past, not tooth brushes, but similar. The one issue I always had was that the pores would get ripped up, even by the softest brush, around the edges. Remember the pore size dictates the cutting ability of the pad so if you open those pores up or destroy the pore structure your pad now has less polishing ability.
