...sucks. I would gladly trade the SS paint on my car for the hard clear coat on a Corvette or Mercedes. Everything was going well until I got about half way done with my hood (which is the first panel I've worked on). My SSR, SHR, and FMP pads all clogged with paint and started leaving little paint/polish trails. Thankfully I got the trails off with a little DS and a double soft. Lucky for me APC cleaned the pads up nicely and I should be good to go again tomorrow. I'm just frustrated I didn't get to finish!
The good news is the paint looks fantastic! Adam's products have cut all the haze, and 90% of the swirls with 2 passes each of the polishes mentioned above. There are a lot of scratches in the paint which won’t be corrected by anything short of a paint job, but aside from that it looks great. I can't wait to finish the polishing and get some MSW on it. Don't worry, I'll post pics when I get to that point. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>
Anyway, thank for reading my vent and sorry for being long winded. Happy detailing!
