A friend of mine who came for a ride in the car seems sure it's due to a worn wheel bearings or a bad wheel bearing module... does anyone here experience the same thing too? 0 BrianT Posted June 11, 2011 Share Posted June 11, 2011 You need to get the car in the air and see if you can feel which wheel hub is bad. If it's getting worse than it should not be that hard to find the bad on. 0 blackws6ta Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 Alot of times with the wheels off the ground you may not be able to feel or see movement in the wheel. If it's Front Wheel Drive you can start it in the air and put it in drive and let it idle. Always make sure it is seated on stands securely and a jack is under it as a secondary safety. While it's idling put your hand on the strut or upper control arm and feel for a vibration. This is what we do at my shop if we don't want to bring out the chassis ear. Good luck! And be safe!
