cleaning & protecting a soft top

my son bought a buick with a soft top. not a vinyl top. what to use to clean & protect it. it is about the same material as a vinyl top or a convertible top. when i learn to send pictures i will. if i coould i most likely would have won the detail something different contest. i detailed a john derre 7820 tractor and a 4400 gallon manure slurry tank. we have after pictures before the tank got covered with s--- again.

Be more helpful if we had a picture, or knew the material you are calling the softtop.

 

 

Ragtopp (sp?) is just about the concensus I hear from everyone on proper top care.

RaggTopp (like Mook said) is recommended by Adam. They have cleaners and protectants.

If you're polishing the paint, be sure to tape the bottom edge (where it meets the paint) and cover it with plastic or a sheet. That is much easier than cleaning a polish splatter out of the fabric!
