Diluting leather and interior cleaner?

Agent 009

Question

Has anyone ever tried diluting it for really sensitive applications? I've tried my sample bottle on some leather trimmed pieces in a few cars and the results felt a bit "ashy" to me...didn't know if the product was too strong or if the pieces were just too far gone already.

Unless you're cleaning something VERY dirty, there's no reason why not to dilute it. I dilute mine 50/50 and it works great!

Like Bill said, ALWAYS follow up with Adams Leather Conditioner when done cleaning.

If you're getting an "ashy" appearance, that means you need to apply more. Leather soaks the conditioner up at different rates, and the really dry areas will soak it up quicker. The ashy appearance is from not getting enough conditioner into it. I've had it happen many times, but with a second or even third application it all comes out even and great looking......and conditioned.
