AZ Tom
OK, after my wife's car, next project is my daughter's Mustang. I'm very much a novice at this, so improvement is anticipated as technique gets better...... Using the Junkman's kit, with PC. Shot #1 is my "before shot" Shot #2 is after two bucket wash, clay bar, SHR, FMP, MSS Shot #3 is the finished project, after Super VRT on trim and tires, and Raggtopp on the convertible top. Still not perfect, but much improved. Question, I'm planning to do this again in a couple of months. With the results so far, should I continue with the SHR as a starting point, or drop down to the SSR? Thanks again to everyone here for all of the helpful information and advise.. 1anonly
Looking good so far. That first shot burned my eyes Something that bad I would of started of SSR. After you did the SHR/FMP it looks a lot better. When you hit it again I think SHR will be fine. You might need a couple of passes, but SHR should be all you need. AZ Tom
Thanks Dan, Christopher and Chris.. Next time should show further improvement, provided I can keep it away from the local car wash. I'm showing my daughter how to do a two bucket car wash, and we are going to hit it with a coat of Americana this weekend. Appreciate all of the help in this forum... Doug123
Looking good! For some more deep swirls, another session with SHR may get the short remaining parts of the swirls out of the finish (swirls can vary in depth for their length). After that, you may be able to carry on with just FMP for a good while.
