sparg93
I'm about to order a new set of Mickey Thompson Classics...raw polished aluminum. I've seen pro's and con's to both approaches - either having them clear powder coated or clear painted (special paint). Negating cost, what do you guys recommend? 0 Chewy
Powder coat will be tougher! Spray will probably be a higher luster. I'd do PC but that's just me. Sent from my iPad using special algorithms and data nodes.

0 Chris@Adams
If you want the look of polished aluminum, I would have them cleared!

Just had my nerf bars on my new 2012 Dodge Outdoorsman put on - "chrome." Truck is black so I'm removing ALL emblems and took a good look at the bars. Didn't like them so when I had the bed of the truck and tailgate sprayed with Linex, I had them do the bars. Two types of Linex - dull black, no UV protection - shiny black with UV protection. When I picked up the truck I was amazed at how great they looked. Life time warranty on anything sprayed with Linex.
0 Jeebalow
^^^Um, I think Line X isn't one of the 2 things the OP has in mind... OP: I would clear coat them as I feel PC would take some of the luster away. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
