ECaulk Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Hey all I'm Eric. First heard about Adam's Polishes from Adrian and a few other members of 5280Cobalts, and was honestly a little skeptical because they talked Adam's up like they were Gods of the car cleaning world. Then last weekend Adam's hosted 5280Cobalts for a demo day, and I now regard Adam's Polishes as Gods of the car cleaning world. And now I'm about to go see what the clay bar will take off my car:D
Stryker Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 The clay bar is HUGE and I love that it comes in it's own little house for when your not using it. Even if you thought your car was clean before, You'll be surprised. I'll 2nd the notion of Adam's being a god
Bill-V8V Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Welcome to AF And break that clay bar into 3 pieces in case you drop one
colodude18 Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Welcome Eric! Let me know tomorrow how the clay bar worked. I may clay/polish/wax a few panels today myself ...
ECaulk Posted July 16, 2011 Author Posted July 16, 2011 Clay Bar worked awesome(used other brands before, none have worked this well or as easy), broke it into three different pieces, flattened it out on the glass like Adam recommends, and went to town. And my goodness was my car nasty, pretty sure that piece of clay is donezo, but my car looks so much better now. Followed the clay bar up with some polish not Adams (tucks tail) using up some other stuff before i buy some Adams Polish, then Adams Brilliant Glaze, and once again over the car with detail spray. Looks so clean now:2thumbs: But it still has some nasty looking spiderwebbing, that will have to wait till i can get and get a place for
mbreyer Posted July 17, 2011 Posted July 17, 2011 throw that stuff out and get that bg and some americana asap unless u have apolisher then add MSS to the order. That BG will blow your detailing mind:thumbsup:
ECaulk Posted July 17, 2011 Author Posted July 17, 2011 Welcome Eric!:worth: It rained 3 hrs after.... But i'll hit it with DS and take some pics tomorrow in the mountains on our 5280 cruise. And in time i will be buying the BG and americana but unfortunately there are other things that money has to go to other than making my car shine
ECaulk Posted July 18, 2011 Author Posted July 18, 2011 Got some pics, first one upclose is my car, black cobalt adams BG really put some shine in it, but it needs more than just BG in a few spots some sand paper and a spray gun. (anyone in the denver area know a good body shop that wont break the bank?) Second one is of the cars we had along for our cruise today along the peak to peak highway. Most of the guys use Adam's Polishes products, all the black cars anyways
