Waterproof leather and interior conditioner

Idk what got me thinking about this, but its been swirling around my head for a little bit now so I figured i'd share it with you. Since the VRT got an upgrade with a boost in SPF and the waterproof properties, and since the leather & interior conditioner is a similar product, I was wondering if there was any thoughts or plans to give a similar treatment to the L&I conditioner...I mean, maybe not so much the SPF boost since it's so **** high to begin with, but the water repelling qualities might be nice.

Interesting, but it might only really be useful for convertibles or jeeps. :D Although we all never know what the mad scientists at the head office are cooking up!

I use SVRT on my Colorado door panels, since they're plastic. I just knock the shine down with a mf towel.

I use SVRT on my doors, but LC on all other plastics. Works great, not a noticeable difference in shine or whatever. And any time I open my door in rain water slides right down.

Sweet, gonna have to do this one!!! Thanks:banana::banana::banana: That water on the inside of the doors when it rains drives me nuts.

60 SPF for the LC is already 20 points higher than SVRT and I have had no instance that I've needed it waterproof. The added expense of it being waterproof, isn't worth it to me.

Well, the 2 benefits I had in mind for a waterproof version would be 1) the water that gets on door panels and door sills when you enter and exit a vehicle in the rain, and 2) an extra level of protection for leather, in case of spillage or something. Sort of like another technology...starts with a scotch, ends with a guard...just a thought.

If i needed water resistant properties i would also need a little oompa loompa who rolled up my windows for me:D. I see side effects such as slickness that comes with water resistant products that may cause more bad than good effects. Put some svrt on your floor mats and see how well that works for you, i did and wont do it again:willy:

Did it to my dad's car, and when he was getting in he slipped and smacked his head into the window!
