BETOGTI
Hi guys, is there anything I can use on my Yamaha´s 2010 R1 windscreen to reduce the scratches? It is a clear stock windscreen. I was thinking of claying then SHR, FMP and MSW. Will this do the trick or these products are not recommended for this type of plastic? Thanks guys. Chris@Adams
I would start with FMP & White pad first! Good luck!!

1anonly
If you use the 4" pads on a drill, becareful. Those windscreens are sometimes made from a softer plastic. If you put too much heat to them you could permantly haze them. I would use a PC or do it by hand.
J Tegeler
I used SHR on the hex grip on my R6 dark smoke windscrean, could see a good differnce right away, then hit it with some BG and it looked like new and shiny.

BETOGTI
Thanks guys, I delayed this a bit because decided to send bike to the shop to fix the cct problem (common to many 09-10 R1s) and will get on it as soon as it arrives back. Will keep you infomred. And yes I will do it with the PC and not the Drill, think it is safer this way. Thansks !
kdii02
I used SHR,FMP, and BG and my 4" pads on my PC to restore my Harley Windscreen. it worked wonders. I would definitely use the same process on my Ninja with no question.
