Calling all RAM owners, A little disappointed

InDepthAutoDetailing

So I joined the Ram Forum. After going to the

Dodge Ram Detailing and General Maintenance Forum

not one mention of Adam's products. Well there is mention of them now.

It's all about the M stuff, A stuff, TW stuff, these people have no idea how good their Ram could look. I posted a couple of pics of my truck and also links to products on the Adam's site. Hopefully I can convert a few of them.

Thanks,

Len

I have found that many many people really have no idea how to properly take care of their car.

A guy at a car show was pushing his wax and when talking to him there was not any mention of proper preparation...claying??? I could go on and on.

I tried on one of the Ram forums and they said that I must work for Adam's, I didn't get across to them!:(

Most don't care to hear it. They think they're right and you're wrong.

I gave up long ago on trying. I'll let theirs look the way they do and mine the way it does. They never see mine so they have no idea what they're missing.

Remember, most peoples buying habits are price related. If they can buy a bottle of TW wash for 10 bucks, then why would they spend 35 bucks for the same thing? I try to educate, but most don't care to hear it. Hence the reason I don't try... I love the people that ask questions, and then argue with your explanation or recommendation. I don't have time for it.

ROFL, I thought you were going to complain about a Dodge RAM. I read the title and said to myself "well yeah..its a dodge!" :lolsmack:

Not complaining about the Ram yet. I have found out it has 16 spark plugs and recommends replacing them a 30,000 miles. There also seems to be several people with a rear differential problem. Mine only has 13,000 on it so we'll see.

I found out about Adams on Dodge Forum site.

I was using some great products (well was great for what you could get at the local store). I didn't relize there was even better products for the average person to use. Some people ( including myself at one time) don't give things a chance because they were so impressed with what they are currently using and they don't relize that there is products even better and easier to use.

I am sure glad I gave Adams a chance! How can you not with 110% Guarantee!

You should try talking to the Diesel Ram owners, they don't care to hear about polish. There just happy it rained so they don't have to waste time washing it. I mean they washed it in 05, why wash it again so soon?:willy:

I hate to say it, but the price is usually the deterrant. When you factor in shipping costs and the high cost of many items needed to fix/maintain your paint, it is a difficult pill for most to swallow. Additionally, most people do not have the time to put in 10+ hrs in a given day. :o

While the results are fantastic, the cost (financial, time, sacrifice for other priorities) is too steep for the majority.

*sigh* dont you just love when people argue against logic and/or personal opinion AFTER inquiring about that particular persons, personal opinion lololol.

No offense to anyone here but I think MOST people who by a ram aren't the kind of people to spend that kind of time and money to have it looking perfect most of the year, most of them, not all. Kind of why you see so many members here who own corvettes and camaros and what nots. I love to take care of my car, and I barely have time to do it. Plus as much as I am a car and detailing guy, I just recently started dropping the serious coin on Adams products. To be honest the products are great, but I love the forum experience here!

I don't fall into your most category! I think that you should change the (Ram) to trucks in general!

I agree Chris....Plus everyone's definition of "Properly" is different. Try telling my 65 year old dad, who has a '72 Monte Carlo (20K) miles, all original, sitting on original TIRES, that he's not properly maitaining his car because he has some swirls in his clear coat. Bwahahaha, good luck.

We all have something that makes us feel good inside, and for us crazies, it's keeping a car clean and as close to perfection as possible.

Trucks would have been a better word to choose, but its hard to argue my point of Most of them.

Well, a guy that buys a truck so he can pile 1000 pounds of dirt or plywood in the back every weekend (or every day for work) clearly -- and understandably -- has a different definition of "clean" than most of us. In fact, for someone who really works hs truck, trying to achieve a swirl-free finish is pretty much pointless.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I own a 4x4 and it's NOT corrected.

It's a truck, not a show piece. It looks AMAZING for a 14 year old truck, but a truck it is.

It's why my trucks will ALWAYS be light colors.
