What to do after rain?

So it rained tonight and I knew that was going to happen. So I did not wash my car. However it was already pretty clean to begin with.

 

So my question is this. Knowing that the car is clean "no built up film" Is it okay to wipe it down tomorrow morning with WW? Or is this a bad idea? Is their dirt in the rain that could grind into the paint?

I wouldnt WW it..I would give it a full on 2 bucket wash to be safe

I would use WCW, spray it down good and use a couple WCW Towels. As long as there is no grit on your paint you will be fine!

Waterless Wash.... Make sure to spray liberally and to flip the towel when it starts to get the least bit dirty!!!!! Should keep it clean and scratch free!

 

Usually rain has very little dirt in it so you should be fine. Worse comes to worse you may have to break out the buffer with some FMP and throw some wax on top of it.

WW is what I would use if you did not drive in the rain. As stated flip towel frequently.

I'd do a two bucket wash. Just to be on the safe side.

After the rain here yesterday I contemplated a WCW spraydown as the car was still a little wet from the rain. I decided against it. Wash is the best way to go, it doesn't take long.

What if you just foam and rinse it then do a waterless wash?

Foaming the car will not remove anything stuck to the paint. You really want to agitate it with a wash pad to get it clean

Well, since it will rain pretty much all the time after I wash my truck, I will do just a fast one bucket wash. Remember it rains hours after truck is done and not driven!
