bjoeaull
So ran out and looked at the truck with the new bedliner in, it looks amazing, has a dark rich color thats warrantied against fading. They got the dings out nicely on the bed and a couple on the door. In the morning they are taking off the emblems on the rear while they have it. So I should be picking it up tomorrow. I'll post picks up when I can!

bjoeaull
So heres some pics after a quick wash now that the bedliner is in! before pic of dings and tailgate with emblems removed I was amazed at how shiny black this liner is! The company is Superliner. My local GMC/Buick dealership installs them. Still need to get the black emblem put on the front grill. And still need to polish and wax here soon. That would look good, any thoughts on brand, would I need to order them or get them from autozone or similar place?

Anyone used the led bulbs like in a taillight, if they make them?
TK427
In regards to the inside cheap wood veneers, we have those on all of are limo's, every time I detail them I just take a small applicator or the edge of a cloth and work some good liquid wax into them, then let dry. After just wipe off, polish or buff with a micro fiber and WALA<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"> </v:shapetype> I have always wanted to try a little brilliant glaze, wipe off then some liquid wax...Hummm<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com<img src=" /><o:p></o:p>

Frid
Nah I'm stationed in korea. Been here for almost 4 months. You can pick up some clear bulbs from autozone for the turn signals. thats what I have in mine atm and it makes it look a whole lot better then those amber ones. When I'm back im going to remove the amber side markers and have cleared headlights.

When I'm back im going to remove the amber side markers and have cleared headlights. Clearing them out would look nice! I've heard though that its hard to open them up without damage compared to some headlights. Do your bulbs still light up amber when on? I think I would prefer them to do that. Jeebalow
You could also just get some led's for those turn signals. They wont make it look amber when off and will be brighter when on. If interested V-LEDS.com Home Page VLEDS that's where I got some and I liked them. I have a set of flashback bulbs that are bright white when just the running lights are on and then the same bulb flashes orange once you hit the turn signal. When the turn signal clicks off it goes right back to white. Check them out!
bjoeaull
Had about 30 minutes free outside with the kids this morning and thought I'd give my wood console some attention. It came out pretty good, not all the deeper scratches came out so I may try again another time, ran out of time. Heres the process I tried By hand I applied fine machine polish (I don't have revive) That was taking a while so I tried swirl and haze, that seemed to take out the majority Then I used some BG and finally americana. bjoeaull
Looks much better Thanks , it really went from night and day, the pic I took was really the worst I could get it to look, using the angle and light. When sitting there in the seat, it looks almost new, besides a few deeper scratches.
kdii02
Great looking truck!! Nice work on the interior trim. For the scratches on my console I used SHR, FMP with the 4"pads on my drill, then a coat of buttery wax. Basically the same results. Those scratches are pretty stubborn huh? bjoeaull
Thanks, I may try the drill also sometime. Did it make much of a mess?
