3PedalMINI
So my wrap guy and my self are getting pretty frustrated, this has been 3 months of meetings, going back and forth with emails and finally i think i am about to pull the trigger. Would like your opinions once again. i am 98% on this design but cant quite put my finger on it. Im going for stupid simple, straight to the point with a bit of "design" I think i am going to add another bullet, "Home Automation" or "One Touch remotes" i am going to have the green power button put back to gold and my website a tad smaller. Opinions/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

1anonly
Leave the button green. I like that it stands out. Yes, on the smaller website. Maybe go with "one touch remotes" because your last line on the door has "home theaters". If you had home automation after home theaters it may not look right. Redvenm
You will find many opinions on this. I like what you have. My thoughts are this on the size of the website. If all of the people you are looking to attract are stopped at a light and reading your van right next to them, I would say yes, make it smaller. If you are driving away or passing by, a larger website as you have now will be easier to read. What good is it if the last thing they read is your website and as you drive away...they just can't quite read it? When I am reading advertising on a vehicle two things really bother me. 1. Writing so fancy one has to study it to understand what it is. 2. Writing to small for me to quickly and easily read while avoiding an accident. Just my thought. 3PedalMINI
Thanks guys! i sent him a list of minor things to change. Im haveing him redo the bullet list to Flat Panel HDTVs Custom Audio Video Home Theater One Touch remote You will find many opinions on this. I like what you have. I know exactly what you mean. I just want my website a "smidge" smaller. I cant stand vehicles that i cannot read, or that there is so much information that you just cannot read it all or dont care to Colors and alighment are going to change too
Redvenm
Brendon, post a pic of what makes the final cut. You have a very nice look going, I am sure the finished product will have great appeal and attraction.
3PedalMINI
i think this is IT!!!! the S after "installation" will be removed, the comma in HDTVs will be removed and the green button turned back to gold. If you notice, the bullet points are the power symbol. I am a bit iffy on the one touch remotes, what are your thoughts? Does that make sense to you? Rich
The design is great...........but that truck is UGLY! Just kidding with ya. Looks good!
mbreyer
I think home automation would look good and take out the flat panel hdtv's part. I think the audio video part covers that issue. if you are going into the automation market (it is a money maker i used to do that in a previous life) u should put that in. on a positive note this progress from the first design to second is a great improvement. Looking again the one touch remote category has a lot of pro's and cons. If you summed it up with home automation it would be best, i think one touch remotes may drive a market of folks that want the technology but cant understand it( i've dealt with alot of people and the ones that want and know how to use ''smart remotes'' if you will are the ones you want) it's the other part of the population that think it's a good idea but dont understand simple operation of a simple remote that will drive you nuts. Just my 2 cents from personal experience.

I will be the first to say it, my van is hideous. You should see the stares/looks this thing gets:lol: I think home automation would look good and take out the flat panel hdtv's part. Ive been doing home automation for 2 years now (ive been a Crestron dealer for 1) It is a money maker, however what i have found is those that know about it "KNOW" and want it. Those who dont know what is is, dont want it or do not even want to begin to pay the price for a basic home automation system (which is 95% of the population) Also, you would think that it would be generic enough to cover that, but people dont know "technical" terms. The calls i got from my last truck that was lettered were all because of the Flat Panel HDTVs (which led into what they really wanted, which was custom work, Go figure right. The ONLY thing holding me back from home automation is the fact that i do 40% commercial work. I dont want to make it seem like i am more geared to the home market. I dont know, maybe im reading to far in between the lines. The first full wrap cost me 4k and got me zero ROI. My lemon of a truck was lettered simple and that paid for its self hands down with the same list, The only thing i am replacing is "Energy Management Solutions" is with either home automation or whole home audio...I dont know, this is driving me absolutely insane:willy:

I mean DEAD. you shake the remote and press watch TV...Everything comes on and then it switches to her favorite channels programmed in. I get atleast 1 or two calls a month from her asking how exactly to operate her blue ray player or even her TV I seriously could not make it simpler...Bless her heart she a sweet young women, but all i can say is she got to where she is at now on her looks/appeal alone (if you know what i mean). She is the stereotypical blonde, we were installing a system for her and i asked how she liked her new car, she said "well i just got it yesterday can you believe that its my 4th new car this year. Im lucky if i keep a car for 6 months without wrecking it" people man:lolsmack:
mbreyer
I catch your point there. On the automation part we used to sell x-10 automation for "those" that like the idea but didnt want to spend the money. Since you are gearing towards commercial however, ever thought of doing the wiring for the I.T. guys, money there as well and really simple: install cable, prep end, label then repeat. Now the switches routers, firewalls and static ip's or dynamic are maybe not where you want to go but it is a commercial necessity and in my line of work something alot of companies need to shell less cash for to the big corp's that dont do anything more than what you have set up in your own home and you would be willing to offer better customer service and pricing. Hope i'm helping more than hindering:D
mbreyer
Completely understand that ''one person''. It's against company policy for me to leave my company cell number but there are those customers you know are just not going to get it 10 minutes after you leave and i leave it for them. I have a picture perfect memory so i feel its better although sometimes annoying to leave my number because they can call me and although i've worked their setup once i can walk them through again the steps to go from cable to dvd over the phone and everyone is happy in the end
