Removing Scratches Close to Trim

I'm looking for suggestions on how to go about removing some microscratches close to trim pieces like bumper pads, window trim, etc, etc. There really isn't much room to get a pc pad or focus pad close to get right into the edge, so I'm thinking by hand is going to be the only way. Anyone have and suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Just tape off the trim and use either a hex or mf applicator with whatever polish it takes to get the level of correction you are looking for, I'd start with FMP

I prefer the green 3m painters tape. It is usually available in the paint section at the auto parts store. IMO, it seems to stick a little better than the blue.

I always thought it is way too difficult to get a huge level of correction by hand?
