csrt4
Hi, When I check the adam's video when I polish the car, between step 1,2 and 3, Adam's never wipe the residue between each step, why ? When I check other video on internet, the residue is wipe between each step ? There is a explanation that don't wipe residue between each step except to save time ? Thanks, Steve
Chewy
Correct! It's all about saving time and not dirtying polishing towels. Once you've figured out what it takes to correct YOUR paint by doing a 2x2 area and removing the polish to see your results, you don't have to remove as you go do the rest. Either way works, and if you're just starting out, it may be better to remove as you go, so you can make sure you're getting the results you want. Remember, always start with the least aggressive product and pad. If you need more, than switch up. Most correcting can be done with SHR and FMP. mc2hill
Like Chris said, it's your choice. I usually work the 2x2 test area, then do the heavy polish on the entire car, wipe, then the lighter polish on the entire car and wipe.
Bill-V8V
I always clean between each step to check my progress, but not everyone does.
Chris@Adams
I always clean between each step to check my progress, but not everyone does. I do too, but it is a habit you really don't have to.And yes it is a time saver.
