Painted Rally Stripes

Ok, so right now my car has matte black vinyl rally stripes and I keep them looking great with the Adams BG and super VRT. However, a neighborhood cat has scratched both the stripes on the hood and one on the deck lid to the point where the Summit White paint shows thru.

 

I'm about to go and have the vinyl stripes removed and have matte black rally stripes painted on the hood, deck lid, and spoiler.

 

So my question is: is it ok to wax painted matte black stripes or still no wax because they are matte finish?

I don't know for sure, but my guess would be revive and BG would work best on the matte black.
