care for classic Mustang vinyl roof?

A friend of a friend has a classic Mustang Grande with a houndstooth vinyl roof (hardtop). It's in great shape (entire car is, actually... garage kept by every owner) but she doesn't know what to use to properly clean and shine it. Not exactly "shiny" but just a little something. Could she use LIC or SVRT? Or is this one of the few times to use a non-Adam's product? From searching I see that Wolfstein's Raggtopp products have been recommended in the past, but I'd love to recommend something from Adam's for this.

I would go with the Super VRT, esp. on exterior use, because it has some water repellency and SPF.

I agree but remember SVRT is a dressing that you will have to re- apply after a washing or two.

I have personally used the following method.....and I'll show you pictures!

 

1) clean with carpet/upholstry cleaner

2) Undercarriage spray - wipe it down afterwards

3) Super VRT.
