Wow man, looks great!

Did you make the owner sign a contract stating that he will never clean it with used shop rags again??? ;)

i explained the whole dont go through car washes that arent touchless, using correct towels and products, etc. so hopefully he will take my advise and bring it back to me to wash it the right way

Daaaaaaaaang man!! I can't believe you got that BEAST done in 8 hours!!!!? Looks KILLER!!! You musta been HUSTLIN'!!!! Beautiful work bro......

:bravo:Wow, That Is AmaZING!!! 8hours

Any chance of a wright up on that thing:bow:

thanks....here is a run down of the process.

first thing i did was started on the wheels, wheel wells, rims and engine bay...hit the wheels wheel wells and engine bay with APC and the rims with GWC

moved on to the wash...sprayed it with my gilmour foam gun and gave it a quick bath and washed that off with the fire hose nozzle...i wasnt too worried about using proper methods at this point because the paint was in bad shape already and it was going to be corrected

spent 5 minutes debating on whether it would fit in my garage or not and decided to give it a go lol....after a few tense moments i made it in

went to work on the inside at that point...i didnt dry the car off at all knowing i would be claying after the interior was finished

started by cleaning the panels and the dash with leather and interior cleaner...dressed it with SVRT

moved on to the inside of the windows with glass cleaner

pulled the mats and used APC and the fender brush to clean them up...swept it out and sprayed some stains with carpet cleaner and let it soak for a few minutes...as those areas soaked i moved on to the rest of the carpet which i sprayed with carpet cleaner and scrubbed with the interior brush....wiped it down with some micros...went back to the stains and got them taken care of.

after the interior was done i moved on to claying...it wasnt too bad for the most part but just had a few rouch areas

at this point i called it a night after 2 hours since i already worked a 13 hour day before starting so i got to bed about 1

woke up at 7 to take my son to school and got started back on the truck at 8

got started on polishing with my flex and SHR with the orange pad and FMP on the white pad...i tested the first panel to see what i would need to do to get it where i wanted it...i wasnt charging a whole lot so i wasnt looking for perfection...i decided one pass of each would be sufficient so i started knocking out each panel with SHR then once i was done with the whole truck with SHR moved on to FMP

after polishing i gave it another real good wipe down with WW to make sure there werent any polishing oils left....once that was done i put a coat of MSS on it

while that was drying i moved on the dress the engine bay with SVRT and I&O spray....moved on the wheels, rims and wheel wells which got IUS and SVRT along with the mud flaps....the MSS hadnt dried completely so i moved on to the exhaust tip and got that polished with metal polish #1 and #2

at this point the MSS had cured so i removed that and moved on to dressing the side view mirrors, bumpers, bed rails and step bars with SVRT on the plastic..cleaned the outside of the windows with glass cleaner...i applied glass sealant after that

i think that was everything i did to it...after about an hour break i gave it a final walk around and tire dressing and clalled it a day....pretty much exhausted at this point so ill be off to bed shortly :willy:...when im detailing its pretty much go go go cuz the sooner i get done the sooner i get to play with my boy so it is good motivation to get it done in a timely manner while still meeting the expectations of the customer
