I wouldn't see a reason to use it INSIDE, since the main purpose is as a water repellant. Unless your passengers are prone to sneezing fits without covering their mouths or you've got kids with candy hands or slobbery dogs. Then re-cleaning the inside of the glass would be slightly easier. :D

Glass Cleaner is usually all I use on the inside of the glass.

Thanks.

My boxer usually slobbers all over the rear windows  so I thought that it'll make it easier to clean it up.

Just order it today and was wondering if anyone uses it on the inside of the cars as well as outside?

Like Mook mentioned, you won't want to use it on tinted windows, the chemical is pretty heavily concentrated and I'd speculate it would have no problem bubbling up tint film.

I've experimented a little with it on the inside of the windshield, but it was really difficult to apply given the angle you have to work at, and I really didn't notice any benefit up there.

I get what you're saying about the dog slobber, and it would probably be effective at keeping finger prints from little ones down, but again, only if you have non-tinted glass.

Thanks Dylan,

How often should it be applied? Does regular wash remove the sealant?

You can get away with the Sealant here in CO, applying it every couple months or more. It's really up to you and your "beading" standards. I apply it every time I get my oil changed, and usually clay my glass that often also.

wait you said it was the rear window. i know on my truck and SUV, the rear windows were tinted from the factory, its not actual tint film IIRC. if yours are the same way it might not be a bad idea.

if yours are film, it wouldn't be a bad idea to just clean the glass off after each time your dog is back there. i keep a glove box kit in my truck for this very reason. my 2 dogs love to look out the windows! doesn't take more than 2 minutes to pull the GC & towel out of my glove box, clean it, put the GC back in the glove box, and take the towel in with me to be cleaned with my next load of microfibers
