Leather conditioner stained my cloth inserts!

Shogun

Question

Hey guys,

First time posting, but long time lingering.

I recently bought over $500 of Adams' car care products in order to keep my brand new RX8 looking showroom fresh. I've been using the leather conditioner to keep my Recaro seats looking like new (the leather tends to fade very quickly). The conditioner has been doing as advertised, but I haven't been careful with the stuff and have gotten it on the cloth inserts and have had no luck getting it out with a plain rag and hot water.

I've been wondering if any of you had any tricks to get the stains out of the cloth upholstery, or will I be needing to buy an interior upholstery cleaner?

Meh, I don't think I'll be putting in an order just for the upholstery cleaner, as it'd cost too much to ship. I'll probably go buy a generic product at the local car care shop tomorrow and try that out... I'd like to have the stains out before I put the car away for winter.

With the extra shipping costs, I agree that something local could do for now, and get some Adam's with your next big order. There are other upholstery cleaners that work OK, be sure to get one that deals with your type of stain. But I have not found a carpet cleaner that works better than CUC! I recently got a bottle for the house (to keep the bottle of APC from getting lonely :D).

Doesn't matter. Use it anyhow. The conditioner actually cleans too, in addition to having a high SPF factor to block the suns rays and keep your vinyl, leather from drying out. Good stuff!:2thumbs:
