MichiganSRT8
Chevrolet : Chevelle | eBay I know some of you guys gotta own one of these, but ever since i learned about cars when i was young I loved this beast (let alone this car was made 20 years before I was born haha). My neighbor did a frame off restoration of his and sold it before I went off to college and it looked exactly like this (we named it dusky jewel haha). Just a solid nice cruising car, there are so many during the Dream Cruise its a sight. Just been drooling over this, and thinking about how i could be waxing it in my front yard so i thought id post haha. Pipe dream for me after college, such a beauty! NeonSRT-4
Father and I had a car similar to this...it didn't have the LS5 454 but it did have the 375 HP 396. It was also black with white stripes. I wish I would have kept the car but after his death in 1996, I couldn't stand to see it anymore because it was too painful not seeing him with the car, so I sold it. ****..I should have kept that car. Rich
I owned two. Bought them both brand new, both the same color. I bought a 69 SS 396 when I got discharged from the Navy, blue with a white stripe down the side. I traded it 3 years later for a 72 SS 454, same color with the wide white stripes over the hood and trunk. I'd kill to have saved either one of them. Both excellent cars. Rich
Wow, just wow. Rich, did those things come with hood pins from the factory? The 72 came from the factory with the hood pins and cowl induction. Absolutely loved both those cars.

rha600
My cousin had a '72 that he put a 50in, tubbed it, wheelie bars and a few other little mods. before he sold it he ran a best of a 9.8 seconds. I thought I had some photos of it online but I can't find them. It was red with black strips though. Oh and with that Ad, it says it's in NJ but those photos are in FL. I'm suspicious of everything so, just saying....
