I keep most of my detail products in my dorm, but I like to keep a bottle a detail spray and some MF towels in my trunk... is that a bad idea?? 0 MichiganSRT8
I go to Michigan State up here in michigan and I kept some stuff in my car as well, I wouldn't if i were you, I had some in there in the summer and it ruined a bottle of DS for me, towel would be fine and I guess not it wont be as bad. If you do, is say get the glove box set and keep the small ones in your glove box. Trunk with sun out might make it too hot in there, nothing over 85 or below 40 is the rule of thumb I believe. 0 Luken10
I actually keep a 4oz bottle of detail spray in my car, but It's all faded and a different color now. Not sure if that affects the product or not, but living in socal with the car outside I'm sure it gets 120+ in the car.
0 Chris@Adams
Its not the best idea (heat wise), but I think we all keep a 4oz. bottle of DS in our cars!
0 Grubrunner
I did it once and will not again.
0 Doug123
I keep a 4 oz. Detail Spray bottle in the car along with a MF, specifically for bird bombs etc. If anything happens due to heat, it is not a big loss. The MF will be fine. 0 07RS4
Its not the best idea (heat wise), but I think we all keep a 4oz. bottle of DS in our cars! Yep. I keep all my gallons inside and my 10 16oz'ers in my garage. They've been in there all summer, and they have been fine. Try a 4oz bottle out in the car, what's the worst that could happen? It gets ruined and you don't do it again. The summer this country has had, especially Texas, we would all be in trouble.
0 AngryPolska
Living in the desert, I don't trust leaving anything inside my truck in summer time. I'm amazed the interior doesn't burst into flames with how hot it gets.
0 Chobbs
Im in vegas too, and I left the 16oz bottle of detail spray in my trunk. I will not be doing that again! and I rarely park in direct sunlight. if possible my car is always parked in a garage or in the shade somehow. its just too hot to leave anything in the car 'round here. 0 LQ9SS
I know I have ruined a gallon of WCW by leaving it in my garage that got up to 98 degrees. You could notice that the product seperated.
