My first Waxing

chrys7

Question

So today I decided to wax the ride, I foamed gunned the Hell out of it let the foam sit for 40sec to break up dirt then rinsed, foamed up again gently washed car with adams large pad, and rinsed it asfter every pass since i dont have room for the two buckets...yet. when all was said and done I Clayed the car, picked up practically nothing but did the entire car.

rinsed again and took it to car wash they let me just go through the air dryer twice, then put on revive and took a 10 min break when done then glaze followed by americana wax car feels slick as heck.

Here are some pics the Pics with the Adams Products was after the clay

but before the revive ALSO svrt all black trim and tires. From wash to clay to Revive to Glaze to Americana Took me about 5 hrs. IM so BEAT!!!!

:lolsmack:

Although I clayed the crap put of the car I felt what must have been imperfections in the paint i went over the spot at least 6 times and it didnt remove what i was feeling. Also found a chip in the paint about half the size of a needle eye. What can I do to cover it up of fix it??

You might be feeling an uneven surface where it was painted? Not a paint expert but I'm pretty sure Adam mentioned something when using the 4in pads and drill in his video about uprises in the paint surface. Could be what you're feeling. Anyone have any input on this?

Many have had good results with Dr. Colorchip or Langka paint chip repair.

Am I the only one who noticed he drove the car to the car wash? lol

I understand why you went but keep in mind on your drive a lot of dirt/dust got on the car right before you started polishing/waxing....a big no no.

Time to invest in a Blaster or a leaf blower!

But I love the Chally.
