How cold is too cold to detail?

I took today off to detail my G8 a final time before winter. It's about 55 here now at 630AM and is expected to get into the low 60's with only a little sun. Being garaged overnight, how much warmer should the air temps be? I washed on Sunday and it's been covered in my garage since then. All my Adam's products are stored in the house so they are not affected by the low temps. Thanks.

I've detailed with temps in the 40's. Just takes longer for sealants or waxes to set-up. Never had a problem with using FMP when it is cool. When it is that cold I do it in the sun which helps. I use DS all winter with temps down in the mid 30's.

Honestly, I think you're ok a virtually any temperature; just call it when it's so cold out that you're miserable. And if the products are freezing on your car, well, it shouldnt take a bunch of strangers on the forum telling you it's too cold out.
