Question about using IPA...

I've seen a few people here mentioning using IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) after claying before polishing or waxing. I know it's a great solvent. I had a question about the IPA though.

Are you using the store bought 70% concentration (or so) IPA rubbing alcohol or something else?

The reason I ask is because I have access to a bunch (and I mean a bunch) of 99% concentration IPA and was wondering if using that would be ok to use instead of the 70%. I use the 99% stuff to clean my hot tub and for other uses, but don't want to use it on the car if it's not ok. I'd rather not do a test spot either... lol

Nathan, when/how do you use the IPA on your hot tub... just curious?

The company we bought it from recommended when we empty the hot tub out to clean it, wipe the shell with IPA to get any film or gunk off of it. Especially around the water line where stuff tends to build up.
