2012 New York International Auto Show (Lots of pics)

Yesterday my girlfriend and I made the trip out to New York to check out the International Auto Show. We both had a great time, and I feel so lucky to have someone that enjoys cars as much as me. Most of the cars had so many swirls and fingerprint smudges to cause most of you to twinge, but I figured I'd share some of the pictures I took anyways.

The Heritage and Horsepower collection had some British bikes and a few older cars. Most of the bikes were owned by Billy Joel.

This was a really cool State Farm Camaro that was half restored as stock, and the other half as street modified. I guess it's used as a training tool for adjusters to spot the differences.

cool pictures. The R8 matte and the BMW M3 Matte are insanely gorgeous. BMW's matte finishes are called "Frozen" for anyone that cares :D.

I wish the matte finishes werent such a PITA to take care of and worry about every time you pull it out of the garage, other wise i would order my next car in matte.

Like you said, the matte finishes look amazing, but I wouldn't want to care for it.

Nice pics, I just came back from the show actually. Did you do Camp Jeep?

No, there were a bunch of people there and with so much to see we still had to catch the 4 pm bus back to Boston.

Great pics and thanks as this is the first year in a while i was not able to make it there.....

This was the first time we went. I went to the Hampton Roads International Auto Show down in Virginia Beach a couple of years ago and it was nothing compared to this.

Nice Len, thanks for sharing!

I like green Hot Wheels Camaro, and the CTS-V. That new Viper is SICK, and the GT-R are always nice.

Are these charcoal grey wheels or chrome?

Is this a 3" or 4" lift? :D

The paint on the Hot Wheels car was like a chrome green, really cool looking. It was hard to get any pictures of the GT-R, there were too many people around it. As it was, some guy walked right into my shot. The Challenger was the Rallye Redline, only a V6 so I wasn't that interested (plus the fact it's a Mopar :jester:) but the wheels were a black chrome.
