LDM
Yesterday my girlfriend and I made the trip out to New York to check out the International Auto Show. We both had a great time, and I feel so lucky to have someone that enjoys cars as much as me. Most of the cars had so many swirls and fingerprint smudges to cause most of you to twinge, but I figured I'd share some of the pictures I took anyways. The Heritage and Horsepower collection had some British bikes and a few older cars. Most of the bikes were owned by Billy Joel. New Fords Some Mopars The new Viper The Viper's interior had Laguna Seca maps in the center console and the Nurburgring in the door panel Fiat 500 Abarth Godzilla Anatomy of Smart Car. Really not much to them. Some new Minis A Rolls-Royce A McLaren, two Astons and a Bugatti Bentleys Audi R8. I just loved the matte metallic paint. M3 coupe also with matte metallic A Morgan Threewheeler Subaru, with a cutaway of one of their boxer engines GM Trucks Electric car test rides, or as I called it, the golf cart track This was a really cool State Farm Camaro that was half restored as stock, and the other half as street modified. I guess it's used as a training tool for adjusters to spot the differences. Hot Wheels Camaro New Chevy concepts Caddy CTS-V coupe, sedan, and wagon V6 Camaro Convertible A real Camaro Corvette 427 Convertible LS9 cutaway ZR1, nuff said The new Chevy Impala A beautiful '66 Impala SS with the big block Chevy Volt cutaway It's a plane, it's a car, it's both! 3PedalMINI
cool pictures. The R8 matte and the BMW M3 Matte are insanely gorgeous. BMW's matte finishes are called "Frozen" for anyone that cares . I wish the matte finishes werent such a PITA to take care of and worry about every time you pull it out of the garage, other wise i would order my next car in matte. Like you said, the matte finishes look amazing, but I wouldn't want to care for it. Nice pics, I just came back from the show actually. Did you do Camp Jeep? No, there were a bunch of people there and with so much to see we still had to catch the 4 pm bus back to Boston. Great pics and thanks as this is the first year in a while i was not able to make it there..... This was the first time we went. I went to the Hampton Roads International Auto Show down in Virginia Beach a couple of years ago and it was nothing compared to this.

Are these charcoal grey wheels or chrome? Is this a 3" or 4" lift? The paint on the Hot Wheels car was like a chrome green, really cool looking. It was hard to get any pictures of the GT-R, there were too many people around it. As it was, some guy walked right into my shot. The Challenger was the Rallye Redline, only a V6 so I wasn't that interested (plus the fact it's a Mopar ) but the wheels were a black chrome. I wonder if I started my own website called: Chevy Girl needs donations for a new ZR1/$1.00 donations. If I had just 250,000 people each donate $1 then I think I cold afford it. :2thumbs:
